William Hyatt started out in the Bowery around 1849. He moved to 143 Broadway NYC then later used a depot 246 Grand St NYC address.
The early bottles were iron pontil marked. The double strength life balsam appeared around 1864. 
It is not recorded what the AB ligature symbol stood for.

Bottle Description : deep aqua, applied tapered/collar lip
Height : 9 1/2"
Bottle Condition : clean, very light inside haze, near mint.
